I was always skinny in high school and then when I was 24 and had my daughter I gained some weight. I had a problem getting it off and then i had my son at 29 he is 2 and I have yet to lose some of the weight I gained. I was at 190 before delivery I am at 160 now and I still want to lose another 30 or so pounds.

I don't like diets they always leave me still hungry. I have done an HcG injections and 500 calorie diet that was insane. I did it for a month and I was down to 130lbs but as soon as I had to stop because I could no longer afford $200.00 a week for the injections the weight just came right back. I have made every excuse not to get up early and do anything. I can't afford gym and I don't have time on lunch to go work out. I have decided that I will take an extra 30 minutes in the morning to work out. I have started a LJ to track my progress if you guys want to take a look and contribute as well. I am new to this so I am not sure how to share anything so I hope I am doing this right.

I wanted to join because want to meet others who are also on this life changing path to better themselves. I also wanted a place where I could talk about anything and everything I want.

It is nice to meet you all and please feel free to add me as a friend since I am not sure how to do it anyway :)

You're right about the diets not being a good idea. I like to say that one should change their diet but not go on a diet to lose weight. You can do it with healthy eating and increased activity.

Yes I totally agree. I love bread and pasta and sweets but I don't have to cut those out just eat less of them. I haven't lost anything yet but it has only been a week since I started.
